Not so easy. Replay data consists only of players who are drawn on the screen. Recording all 22 players every frame would use up the 6k buffer much quicker. Basically, it's gotta be ripped out and redone.. which is the long term plan anyway as full match replays are the intended goal. :D

Steve, would it be possible to have a way to manually edit the text on the top right hand corner? I think this was brought up before but thought I'd bring it up again.

No worries if you haven't the time etc.

The current problem is that the kickoff2 executable has now grown too big for the current file layout. Adding more KO2CV features results in the corner selection box becoming corrupted and the game crashing on load. Basically I've got to rearrange the filesystem and give some much needed flexibility to the contents of the floppy. This is currently in progress and will enable even more KO2CV developments :gban:

Ok.. I`ve got one!

From the squad/tactics selection screen before you start.. Can you make it possible to choose the extra ( Shifted tactics ) before play starts...

For people who use these.. it`d be handy to choose from the outset instead of changing once the game begun.
Also 2nd half it would default to the tactic you choose in the tactics screen.. again no need to change it for the 2nd half :)

That is fiddly! There will need to be 8 tactic boxes in the upper right corner. So... possible, but not simple.

Does there have to be 8 ? can`t it just be the four.. and when you press shift-1 it changes in the same box etc ?

Still not simple. Would be nice though!

Suggestions for some JFF options:

1) Lob-aftertouch is disabled. That is, you can curl the ball left and right with after-touch, but you can't give the ball more height by pulling the joystick in the opposite direction after you have made you shot.

2) Shooting is disabled unless you are in the PBD area. If you, outside this area, press the button in a shooting moment (as opposed to pressing the button where you would then enter trap mode), your player will fall over.

The idea behind the first option is to take lobs out of the game. Clearing lobs would not be possible, so you would have to "play your way" out of defence. Similarly in midfield and in the play approaching the penalty area.

The idea behind the second option is to make KO2 a dribbling game. Good for practice and maybe also for fun.

PS. I know you are very busy. I hope you can appreciate my suggestions anyway, if nothing else then as food for thought.

Interesting suggestions. Both seem simple enough to implement, and I think I would definitely benefit from playing with these handicaps :D
