Barrett, how much faster than Hunt?

Postby hogstrom » Mon Jun 02, 2008 1:18 pm

Earlier I have always substituted Barrett first I do when starting the match, but lately I have been using Barrett when playing ko2. Im sure he is faster than sub. Hunt. Im unsure how much faster Barrett is, and i his stamina is better as well. I have found stats on the first eleven (tnx Camber) but not on the two substitutes (Hunt and...how can I forgett the name of the other sub?!)

Anyone have the stats on these two substitutes? Is my feeling correct that Barrett is at least 10% faster than Hunt?

Tnx in advance

Hi John,

R.A.Hunt has pace 192 and stamina 200. Barrett has pace 196 and stamina 186.

You can find all stats for all teams in Aftertouch issue 3:

According with the stats posted by Alkis, Barker is better than Hunt but consider that in second half his skills are reduced by his low stamina. in other words, Hunt is stronger than Barker in second half if you change the player in the beginning of the first half, so you just need what do you prefer: to have biggest stats in firts half or second half. Or you can use barker in the first half and hunt in the second half, than take a slide and play in 10 players, starting from the Injury time at 10:08 winning by 2 goals against your opponent. You know the rest... :P

Tnx both!

- Strange, I had a feeling o that Barrett were clearly faster than Hunt, according to stats it´s only a slight differance.

Shaw has 200 pace and 193 stamina. He usually plays among slower players than those on the international team, though.

I suspect that when you substitute a player, he will run onto the pitch without the human speed advantage (which he will only get when he is controlled by the player and has that line under him). I always think that when I substitute a player, he looks slow running onto the pitch, but then when I get to control him, he seems ok after all.
