Re: KO2- KOA Graphics

Hello there, Today I wanted to edit the practice pitch for my KOA friends but I had a bad encounter with a strange problem:
first: the plastic pitch fbgraph4.art of KO2CV is corrupted so it is uneditable. I have already noted it during my random pitches friendlies with ALessandro, few tiles are corrupted.
second: opening a good fbgraph4.art I noticed that there aren't the vertical strips in the bitmap!!!! and If I try to add this gfx file in KO2, the strips are disappeared!!!! so no strips on plastic pitch (for the great joy of Alkis who hates those vertical strips).
I tried to load many differents fbgraph4.art from differents KO2 versions 1.2 1.4 1.6 Final Whistle but always the same problem... where are the strips?!?!?!
Since it is not simple to draw a complete set of tiles with border lines, midfield circle, penalty box I'd like to use the existent set of tiles and to draw some new if needed.
I wonder if the Guru may help me about this strange issue.

Thanks in advance!

...are you saying that if you extract the fbgraph4.art file and then re-insert it (with the same name) the plastic pitch stripes disappear?

Sorry, but I don't know what could be causing this - a palette issue maybe :?:

If I try to open every kind of fbgraph4.art from a Kickoff disk which has got stipes on plastic pitch, I can't see tiles with streaps in the bitmap, there is just one green colour in the bitmap. If I try to insert that file in to the same disk, that stipes desappared... :?o:

Practice pitch is done!
the graphic is not so good but it is practical. try normal pitch.
Now normal pitch seems a cheesboard and you can see when you change the zone and you can see what happen on the scanner.
enjoy!

Nice one, Gianni! You've had to overcome some technical difficulties as well so that's doubly impressive! 8) This gives us an idea where zones begin and end so will be very useful Thank you! :)

Excellent work Gianni. As soon as I have a joystick (come on, Greek and German postal service) I will load this up.

This is way koohl! I know Steve is going to LOVE this! 8) 8) 8) 8)

These personalised pitches really are fantastic Gianni, and inject the great game with some real-life KOA references!:) Do you know how many pitch files would fit into KO2CV ? Obviously, there's the four standard ones. It would be great to have a number of personalised pitches that could be selected via the JFF menu. I'll add this suggestion to the wishlist...
