player manager issue

Postby suttydroitwich » Sat Jun 09, 2007 11:40 pm

i know am probably being a dummie brummie here and i know loads of others have posted with the same problem(which i have read)

i get player manager to work up until the "enter formatted disk" bit but cant get it to continue, I have also followed the online help screen

I must get this working as I have ordered my competition pro now for pc!(which I will probably wont be able to get working either when it arrives!)

cheers in advance

Hi Sutty, welcome to the KOA!

Firstly, get yourself to the next KOBRA gathering in Brum. You will love it.

Secondly, I've not experienced the PM problem, but I'm sure others will have, so stick around for a speedy response :)

Hi there.

Can`t find my other post about this so here goes!

When the game asks for a blank formatted disk -

1:Press F1
2: Click on Floppy drives ( in Winuae )
3: Click on `Create Standard disk`
4: In the filename box, type in what you want the disk to be called
5: You can also choose where it saves the disk ( remember this )
6: Click `save` this will take you back to the floppy drive screen.
7: At the top ( DF0 ) click on the icon next to eject [..] <--- looks like that
8: Go find the disk you created and double click on it.. or select it and click on open.
9: Press OK at the bottom to get back into your game.. then follow your game prompts to do the disk saving.

Regarding PM.. it will ask you for the PM disk later ( week 11 and 23 ) I think. just follow points 8,9 and 10 ( finding your pm.adf this time not your save disk )

Hope that helps
:D

Don't know much about pm, I'm afraid but just wanted to say welcome! :)

As Steve says, you've very welcome to come along to the next KOBRA but before that there's KOOHL 1 this coming saturday (16th) - be great if you could make it - check out the calendar in my signature for details! 8)

I've got a usb comp pro so any difficulties just post...

Cheers
Garry aka gdh82

Excellent stuff! Another Kick Off player in Birmingham!

What with Gaz, Simon, Ginger Pete, myself, JonG, BenG and Sutty Droitwich, the Midlands is taking over the KOA!!

They'r a great bunch of lads here Sutty and if you want excitement and laughter then you'v come to the right place.

You'r more than welcome to make it to KOOHL1 and it would be an absolute pleasure to have you here - You never know, you may win your first ever tourney!

From my extensive brummie vocabulary, I think the word you're looking for is relative! Still, not bad for you soft southerners!!

sorry gents for the late response been on the beer all weekend!
sorted now thanks for your help!

oh hours of fun!

i always found the only issues with pm was the internationals stopped and the history only showed last years stats instead of the whole career. is there a version of pm where this has been fixed?

Well if you stick around some :) we have a guy that might be able to do that! at the moment he`s consentrating on KO2cv and KO2PC, but PMEV is next on his list...

Some say he can grind down a 2 tonne block of concrete with his bare teeth

Others say he actually lives INSIDE the Kick Off code!!

All we know is that he`s called the CAMBER!!!

That's not a bad description of reverse engineering!

I'm looking forward to getting stuck into PM so stick around.

The online stuff is at last become a regular thing, so a league will no doubt form when we've agreed on suitable servers etc.
