I'm afraid that online KO never worked well for us. Even the slightest lag ruins the game experience.

surely nowadays with fast up/download speeds it might be worth a pop on a private server

This is running on a dedicated server in a UK datacentre I'll leave it on for a while if people want to try it

To be honest i thin we ALL need to look at this now.

People are still basing this on technology of a few years ago, but i think if we got a few of us togetter, perhaps we could arrange a mini league or something played over a few weeks?

My thoughts..


Play 6 or 10 games to establish the winner and not 1, nd the winner is the winner best out of sort of thing.
Stuill get teh usual 3 points for win, 1 for draw.

perhaps arrange a fixture each week for 2 to arrange a time?

I mean common guys, if the sensi lot can do it, and the net can handle FPS and even the upcoming sens i online for xbox we should look at this.

Recently I played a few games online with Redhair from Sensiblesoccer.de. It worked fine for me, at least I didn't notice any lag. Same with Sensible Soccer btw.

Only problem is I don't have a joystick, and its unplayable with a gamepad..

On the serverside I think you can set maximum ping level

So if your ping is too high you dont get on.

unpack it and run WinUAEXPr2b2.Kaillera.exe

go to the kailera tab and hit launch kailera

find the EnterIP option and stick in
