If you kick the ball out, while in the opposition penalty area, we need a voice saying 'safety first'.

The KO2 sounds during gameplay are minimal but very effective. I wondered how do-able it is to add a muted/shortened cheer (perhaps using the same sound effect data to save memory) when a shot hits the side netting (or other near miss)? I reckon this could add to the atmosphere during a game.

Another thought I had (not so sure about this) is similar to the idea of having goal information (distance, speed etc). Why not have "missed by" information (for both wides and overs) that is briefly displayed on screen. If a shot is wide by just a handful of pixels it could add to the tension, and at the other extreme it could provide embarisingly funny information for the those near-corner-flag shots of mine!

It could also be a source of encouragement if the missed by distance figure is gradually getting smaller... :)

This might also prove to be a useful tool for trying out new shots and measuring your progress ? Such as the tripod chip TM which I've gave up on pretty quickly (1) because its too damn hard (2) because I'm too damn crap and (3) I wouldn't have a hope in hell of applying it in a match! :P

After 6 months of working 80+ hours a week, I now have some free time at last :) KO2CV development continued yesterday.

Cheeky git! I'll admit though that getting said tech working was more interesting than actually using it for the purpose intended.

I was pulling your leg, Mark! I was referring to your post not so long ago, something about not playing anymore - perhaps you've forgotten?

Anyway, no offence intended, mate.

Glad it seems your interest in KO2 is still alive, even if only just.
