So are we really going to see what's basically a KO2 version of PM? If so, I don't care how long it takes! I've been dreaming of such a thing ever since I first played KO2.

Can someone just confirm if we are (eventually) going to see PM using the KO2 engine?

As long as I don't get hit by a bus or something in the near future, then yes.

Not trying to annoy or rush you, but do you have any idea when KO2 work will be finished? I mean, have you got some sort of KO2 list you're working through, or is development pretty much made up as you go along? I'm just curious.

I was going to post a topic on another subject, but I may as well post it here:

Regarding the Shooting stat in PM, am I to understand that the higher it is the straighter your shot goes and the more likely it is that it will go past/through the keeper?

If so, does the Shooting stat work in the same way for KO2 (I'm thinking ahead to the 'PM using the KO2 engine' version)? If so, can aftertouch be used to get a wayward shot on target, or is a crappy shooting stat still likely to send your shots wide even if aftertouch is applied?

I have no schedule laid out for how KO2CV / PM will develop in the future. Meeting milestones and target dates is something I prefer to leave in the workplace. The research and modifications take up a lot of my precious free time, but as long as I enjoy it then it's not a problem. I am looking forward to diving into the hidden treasures PM has to offer, armed with the tools and knowledge my KO2CV work has produced, but first I'd like to get KO2CV to a stage where I feel it's reached a certain level of completeness.

PM stats are used in KO2. The shooting stat does translate into straight kicking, although I don't think it has a direct effect on ball/goalie collision, apart from maybe being hit harder?

Even aftertouch won't be able to totally correct the shot of a very crap shooting stat, but it will of course help to a degree.
