In single player mode, at the start of the match, the CPU Team B randomly chooses one of the 8 tactics to use. You may override this at any time using the Team B formation keys.
Auto stats. When the referee blows the whistle for half time, stats for ball possession and average goal distance appear while the players walk off the pitch.
Bugfix - Practice Mode now defaults to International skill level, instead of division 1.

Yes.

counter??
They will return when they are accurate. Currently, one hit can result in multiple hits being registered.

From what I remember that is the way it has always worked.
I could change this if anyone can think of a good reason!

Steve,
I am pretty sure that if you quit with 3:08 on the clock the second half would have 8:08 left, not 6:16
Althought I could be wrong, I am talking about the ST version here so maybe you are correct in that the Amiga gives you twice what you quit at.
However if you quit at 1:08 would it only give you 2:16 in the second half?!?!?!

No longer the only UK based Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Crewe supporter in the whole of the KOA!!!
Nice one, Steve!
Always good to see a new version of the CV! Especially like the introduction of auto stats and look forward to further additions to this in the future
I can't see a problem with the timings btw - if you quit midway through the first half it just adds the remaining time to the second half.

Just a quick query about average goal distance.... is this measured in pixels ? Can you tell me the equivalent for the penalty box and half-way line ?
Thinking about it, how feasible is it to convert this distance to yards in a future CV edition ? Just be more meaningful and be nice to read after a 40 or 50 yard lob!!

The distance is in game units, which are pixels.
As an example, the pitch is 912x1392.
A goal width is 88 units.
A goal height is 28 units.
The penalty box is 192 units 'high'.
So how does that compare?

Shall we say that 1 unit = 10cm?

I'm scratching my head here.. there must be something wrong with your calculations.
If a goal width is 88 units, then 88u=7.32m=73.2cm =>
1 unit = 0.83cm
Which makes the field length 115.5x75.7 meters, which is a rather big field but within FIFA regulations.
