nice...this is really helpful. :)

from the green highlights, it seems that you've taken the time to trawl through the archives to find these links. a quick modification of the link should remove this (i.e., delete "highlight" bit), if you want.

i think getting good at KO2 is a bit like losing weight, where you can get by with just eating less or doing exercise but the most notable change occurs when you eat less and exercise. similarly, the most marked improvements should arise when raw KO2 practice is in tandem with learning tips and tricks from others. kind of like them skill synergies in diablo 2!

sadly, there arent enough of these topics, but centralising them in one easy place is beneficial to all - thanx! :D

How many people actually STUDY the game, the tactics, the player positionings etc (or have done in the past?)

Analyse which ball to the strikers works best, when to hold up the ball for precisely how many seconds, which way to turn your player when defending from a certain angle, when to switch players chasing the ball etc etc????

I just play for fun ... but would like to know more about the game... and be more "mechanical!"

I'm sure there are players here who treat KO2 like a brain surgeons exam, dissecting parts of the game!!

Own up!

Hi Sid,

I'm sure if I was as thorough as that I'd be a better player than I am  Maybe the best players simply work out what works and what doesn't so much more quickly and the rest of us just try to copy them afterwards!

Anyway, interesting post, but maybe a good idea for another thread ? And if it contains any further insights then I'll link to it above.

How about Player Attribute maths - http://www.ko-gathering.com/phpbb2/view ... sc&start=0

Any use to a newbie or maybe a bit too much detail?

Definately! Thanks, Steve. Will add it perhaps with a few others on "the workings of KO2". Cheers :D
