Don't get too hung up on player value. Resilience is a HUGE factor in overall value, and doesn't really matter.

I bought some of my best players for 600k, and bought a few duds for 1200k (passing 50 lol).

There is no need to pay full price for players. It is easy to haggle down to 70%, or 60% if you do really well. Start by offering 50% and haggle from there. If they reject just reload your game

You can't re-load the game.. At least on the ST version. If you re-load the same saved game twice the board starts to sack you. Your rating goes down and down

Unless you are using the features of an emulator where it can save the memory, then of course anything is possible!

Then there's Hex editing, but all the challengs goes out the window after that But you can get a rocking team!
I'm wondering whether anyone else has used the 'season restart/reload' technique to make teams of players only worth 1000k and above.
I'm wondering whether anyone else used this technique to generate 'super teams' for use in KO2?
Can you explain this technique further please??

Thanks

Mark

Hold on so basically all your good teams are 'frigged' by saving reloading?

WTF?

I don't even know whqat saving/reloading is but I presumed all these great teams people had where from season after season of hard work.

Oh for gods sake is nothing sacred anymore :( :( :( :(

I would like to confirm the ST version stopped this happening (as people above have already said)

If you went thru the same end of season more than once (it allowed it once in case of a genuine crash) then the board would start to hate you.

However you could get around this by winning 6-0 or more each match, I actually went thru about 5 seasons of winning 6-0+ in every match just so I could carry on. If you didn't win 6-0 three matches in a row (which was a pain when your PM got injured of course) then you were sacked (for cheating no doubt)

So shame on you who abuse this on the inferior amiga version!

Totally Agree.
I always offer around HALF the asking price first, then usually meet them 50/50 from there, knocking off quite a few k's off the price, usually get my man a 1/4 cheaper than the asking price. The price just drops!

I'm with you on that one!!! Hell Yeah!
Best is when you miraculously see more than 2 players in one season on the transfer market at over 1000k!!! You can get another 1 or 2 too over 500k no prob.

We didn't get a chance to play with the PM teams during the Athens WC, but we did play some games before the Helland 1 tournament on January 2003. I don't remember many details, but Robert surely did better than he usually does against me with the standard teams.
Remember, remember, the 4th and the 3rd of November
