Player Manager's tactic and saved game file structure?

Postby Oss117 » Tue May 24, 2005 8:31 am

Does anybody knows or have informations about files structure of tatics files or saved game of player manager? The idea behind is to reuse tatics and import team created in Payer Manager to Open Kick Off.

Does ThrowIn able to do the job right now?

I did look into the tactic-format one time. However, I didn't write anything down

Its straighforward however. For each pitch section (+ kick off, corners etc)
there is a coordinate for each of the 11 players. Each coordinate is 2x2 bytes (bigendian) mapping into the whole pitch (size 1280x1536).

What I did was to modify a tactics file in a hex-editor and reload in PM in order to figure out the sequence. Why, didn't I write this down??

I said 11 players, but I meant 10 of course. Goalkeeper is fixed by the AI.

Thank you jesper for infos. I am going to dig in that way. Open KickOff already have a tactic editor based on the one used in PM, I will try to import file according what you said.

Anyway did you have a look with the stuff i sent you yesterday evening? 8)
