Is the Team A/B issue in PM

Postby durban » Mon May 16, 2005 1:12 pm

when you are playing away do you have the TEAM B weakness?

Or are you always Team A

Or is it not there at all?

Also is PBD evident in PM?

I swear I notice it on some players and not on others......

Found it.. it's identical code mate.

Around a 10% increase for the home team.

Ok two questions MR C

In PM, you always play in the same colour. Thus are you always team A regardless of if you are home and away?

Secondly, can you add Aftertouch into PM somehow?

I would imagine you would know if you were team A by looking at the scores on the screen? TeamA on left, TeamB on right.. Or aren't scored displayed.. cant remember..

and no.. Well yes in theory, but NO!!

Erm cant remmebr, I think you are always Blue so always the left hand side score mate.

I may be wrong, but you deffo always play in Blue whether you are home or away and always use F5/6 for the subs etc.

I reckon TeamA is always meant to be human then, and therefore it was given the extra help to make the game slightly easier to play.. and seeing as the code got reused in KO2 we were left with the A/B issue. Nice!

I blame PM for PBD and A/B

OH MY GOD Camber!!

That is so right!

I have always said that KO2 was built on the code of PM.

Which explains A/B perfectly as 'home advantage' is a feature of league football.

Note that in KO2 competitions, Team A seems to confer a 25% advantage.

Yep, removing the A/B issue from PM is very simple. I assume as you seem to be TEam A all the time anyway, it will only make your games harder... and I don't know if it affects automatically generated results (PM does that, right?)
