Will the release of UKO be the end of the KO2 era ?

We have played KO2 many many times the recent decade but although it is ten years since the release KO2 is as popular as ever.
I don't think that any other game from the early ninties have loads of websites and a world championship.

the question is if UKO will change this. Will we play UKO in the future instead of KO2?

Personally I will stop playing KO2! I've had some great years with it but nothing can last forever. UKO is just so much better so for me there's no reasson to continue to play KO2.

What do you think?

There's no way I stop playing KO2 for most sentimental reasons. That's why I'll never master KO2002. <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

For me it just won't be for sentimental reasons. It's exactly like what Steve said, imagine KO2 as the 2nd record of your favorite band and KO2002 as the 5th record. You won't stop listening to both.

Now that you mentioned it Binary, that's excactly the feeling. I can tell you though that PM2002 will be my all time favorite, even before it comes out for beta testing!

I consider myself more a PM than a KO fan!

Now that's a mature reaction that derives from the soul of an original player! Thumbs up Beck!

I have been waiting for years now until a decent footy game gets released where you can manage the team and control the players on the pitch.
That's my excuse for playing SWOS until now.
I think it's time for PM2002 to conquer this area of the computer footy arena!!!

ko 2 will last 4ever.... I think it will be difficult to stop playing kick off 2...

I also look forward to both KO 02 and PM 02...

a dream game would be a combination of Champ.Man 94 and Kick Off 2.

I read a while ago about CM4, and I posted something here somewhere about it.. that they are wanted to put in a match viewing thing, using a top down view! so you might get your wish, not that it`s ever going to be anything near UKO or KO2.
