Could you explain to your fellow n00b what a "Scrubs night" is?

The programme Scrubs. US comedy set in a hospital about n00bie doctors. One of only 2 things I watch on telly right now, the other being Wife Swap. Quality. We are going out btw (it's been decided  ) so I won't be able to play unless it's later on.

That's okay Paul, I'll just try to play somebody else if someone's around.

I'd probably have a hard time beating you when you're drunk anyway, with your unpredictable moves and all... :D

Here's your chance, Pascal. I've now played two more matches vs Gunther this time. My ping was 30 ms, his about 55 and it was far better than the match vs Pedro, though certainly not perfect. I felt good at first because he is placed two groups above me in the WC and I was definitely the better player (but lost one, won one :)) but then it turned out he has to play with the keyboard.

I'm not sure if I can find the time tonight, but I will try to play one game.
I have football practice tonight and I have to do some home administration :(

I might pop in tonight, but my ping sucks. Best so far is 105

I had my first international matches with Pete yesterday.
The first 3 games were all 1-1 draws. Then I started drinking beer and won the next two matches 3-0. The last two goals were World Cup material I think, and Pete described it as if Ronaldo suddenly had entered the pitch :)

I really enjoyed playing another human player, because it has been more than a year ago!

I'll be on the koanet again tonight and tomorrow evening...

I played 2 matches versus Tripod yesterday. The first one ended in a 1-3 loss for me. The connection was slow and my timing was completely off.
In the second game, Alex was 3-0 up at half-time. Then, as by a miracle, the connection sped up and I could do the moves I like to do, including longshots. This had a devastating effect on the match: I managed to score 3 goals and thus got a draw!
During the second half of our third match (score 0-0) the connection was lost. Pity, but I had a great time playing the games.
Alex is a good and challenging opponent for me. I don't think we will do very bad at the World Cup next week. Don't get frightened though, I don't think one of us will win the tournament either :)

Yes, thanks for the games, Calimero. I assure you I can do better and had problems with the connection myself, too - you could tell by my attempts to trap the ball which were often wild shots all over the place! :)

Work on your defense, mate, or even I'll rip you apart on a good day! :D But your offense looks good already, lots of variations, I liked it. If you work on your 433 (especially the defense, which is a bit vulnerable in that setup) it's a good tactic few people know to play against. See you online again soon!

Wouldn't mind a couple of games early evening tonight if anyone is around. From 17:30 to 19:00 is when I will be available.
