KO2 online version:Just a dream?

Postby TheFoxSoft » Mon Sep 22, 2003 4:02 pm

According to me online KO2 it's almost impossible to realize nowadays.
Lag problem affect KO2 more than any other games. In KO2 you must have a perfect precision with ball control. If you miss a frame you will lose the ball...
I tried WinUAE Kaillera. It works really fine (35ms), but it's still not KO2.
It's really frustrating when you see the attacker change direction and you can't follow him because your control will be in late!

I tried Dino Dini's Soccer , and the lag problem (35ms) doesn't affect the gameplay.
Inerzia make the game more tolerate from late response.
Dino told me about bufferized controls supported by Goal!...this allow to don't miss neither a frame!

I think if you want a KO2 tournament you must came in Groningen WC!

Have to disagree, ko2 online is lots of fun and at the end of the day the name of the game is fun after all :)

I agree that sometimes you may just miss a split second, but in general I find the gameplay is spot on.

I know Fillipo will agree with me on this one.

with 10ms is the perfect kick off (ask to fabio and try to play with him) and with 35 is a fun version, anyway I agree that there's nothing like play with an amiga, but playing on-line every day with people from paris or berlin or norway (!) is really incredible and you can just play a game for fun the WC is only once in a year not enough for me ;-)
sorry for being far from this forum but I'm moving from my house and I think to be ready for the games in a week!
