Pee, I believe the trials are all done and the rollout is coming soon.

I think they are performing one lot of 'wider' trials accross 1000 users or something so maybe end of June is correct...

Fellas,

Please can we all decide before the match whether it is to be ranked or not!

Both players have to agree the rules up front and if you both agree its a ranked match then it has to be a ranked match.

You cannot just presume it is ranked then blame the other person for not reporting it as he may not have thought it was ranked.

we need this all sorted out up front.

Also if a player agrees to a ranked match but then doesn't report please can you let me know the reasoning and I will make a decision.
If the player agreed but his connection kept dropping thus he couldn't finish a game then I may decide the game is therefore void. If he decides that it isn't ranked just because he got beat 10-0 however then I will decide the result must stand etc.

I am very fair so don't worry, but this can all be sorted out between the players.

You have to agree up front whether this is going to be a ranked game, and then when it is over please be honest and fair and report the result if you both agreed beforehand it was to be a ranked match.

Yeah that about sums it up. I read on adslguide.org.uk that there is a 1000 person trial using various ISP's from 9th July in what is basically an extension to the current 100 person (BT employee only) trial which is set to run until September/October

Rollout then will depend on what if any problems they find. So far though the trial "has performed very well, with an error rate no higher than existing users. In fact BT has stated that 100% of the lines were installed and continue to work well." So that bodes well at least.

So I need to get on this trial basically or else I'm fucked 'til October ish. I'll get into with the ISP I originally ordered with and see how I get on.
