also, these servers may slow down if so many players connect to them.. a server with 2/10 players is faster than 8/10 players , because the servers bandwidth is also limited this occures.
three or more servers is better to be played on.
We may write down pings of both sides and calculate an average ping. Maybe instead of goal difference we shall use ping difference if two teams get equal points.
we may think of this, as this is the one of the very begining online tournament, we'll test & see how can the tournament be improved by experiencing difficulties inside the tournament
offical chatroom can be used in the tournament to announce scores, to arrange servers etc.. so everyone participating to the tournament should install java
or an irc client to connect irc.quake.net
btw. if i play against alkis , it will definetly be better to play in a greek server like the one called phoneix so i dont think we should announce the servers before the tournament just decide over the chatroom by checking the pings.. ( and also if a server is too slow, if two players agree , they maybe able to restart the game over another server )
