Mark, how did you host it from your own IP? Was it a simple matter of obtaining your own IP and then giving that to the other user?

Download the server client from here. http://kaillera.com/download.php

There's a .conf file that you can edit in a text editor to give your server a name and a few other settings. You don't have to though.

Then run kailleraserv.exe. While it's running your pc is a server and after a minute or two you will see your server name in the server list.

Dammit, stick around longer next time ;) or at least speak when you enter the chat room so I get a notification!

He always replies saying he is a bot!

When I first logged in I had no idea that Jon Hare was a bot, until Steve E told me ... I was happily having a proper(?) conversation with Jon!!!!

Thats not... too bad. Obviously not good for rankings but a nice friendly tournament would be cool :)

But bragging rights would be a bit off kilter if the looser had the worse ping. hehe

I downloaded the prog from the first post in this topic, but when I try to start a KO2-game on the laptop I only get a purple flickering screen. Has my laptop turned gay on me?

I think this occurs if you try and play a 1 player game. But if you arrange a 2 player game then everything is ok.
