KO2 Competition Version Wish List - First Thread

Postby Steve Camber » Sun May 15, 2005 8:07 pm

Add any suggestions to the wiki here :
http://www.ko-gathering.com/wiki/index. ... TIONS_HERE

Already added:
To do:
See http://www.ko-gathering.com/phpbb2/view ... highlight=

Wishes(possible):
Remove auto slides by the rest of your team?
Remove auto headers by the rest of your team?
Remove off-pitch fouls?
Remove pointless slide when next to ball with no opposition around?
Adding the possibility to run inside the penalty area when the goalkeeper has the ball possesion
Adding the possibility to the goalkeeper to walk inside/outside the area with the ball.
Adding the possibility to the forward to make foul to the keeper
Foul on goalkeeper result quite always on yellow card
Foul on forward running alone to the goalkeeper result quite always on red card to the defender.
Allowing an attacker to intercept a ball passed to a keeper
Extra substitutes.

Wishes (dreaming):
Adding the actual FIFA backpassing to the keeper rule
Having extra new substitute players like a new goalkeeper
Adding referee + linesman (like 1.6 version)
Adding the wonderful amiga speech "penalty" before the penalty like KO1!
Adding the option of offside like final whistle
Adding all the extra sound effects of the 1.6 version

Stupid ideas
Don't change anything
Stop lobs going in

Please post any good suggestions here, or debate the current wishes.. do we want them?

Isn't part of the charm to play the original game as it is?

Yeah I agree Freshy, lets ban Camber from the KOA for spoiling it all for us.

:lol:

Nice work Mr C.

Whilst I like the idea of getting rid of Autoslide, I have to admit to many times when the computer has saved me with an autoslide just as the person is about to score....this may be an issue...

But other than that you are our hero...well all apart from Freshies of course :lol:
No longer the only UK based Liverpool, Nottingham Forest and Crewe supporter in the whole of the KOA!!!

Great work Camberman, since we don't change the gameplay and the dynamics of the game all the changes will be more than welcome!

My -EASY- wishlist is:

1. adding all the extra sound effects of the 1.6 version
2. adding the wonderful amiga speech "penalty" before the penalty like KO1!
2. adding referee + linesman (like 1.6 version)
4. adding the option of offside like final whistle

My -HARD- wishlist:
1. adding the actual FIFA backpassing to the keeper rule
2. adding the possibility to run inside the penalty area when the goalkeeper has the ball possesion
2. adding the possibility to the goalkeeper to walk inside/outside the area with the ball.
3. adding the possibility to the forward to make foul to the keeper :D :D
4. having extra new substitute players like a new goalkeeper :lol: :lol:
5. foul on goalkeeper result quite always on yellow card :D
6. foul on forward running alone to the goalkeeper result quite always on red card to the defender.

The speech penalty was only on the Atari ST Steve, not the Amiga.

No offside since it doesn't work as good as is should.

Why adding the sound effects of 1.6e and refs and not start playing this insted?

Was thinking that.. Sounds like using a overhead-kick-free v1.6 would be popular. Excuse my Amiga ignorance, but does 1.6 run on a standard A500?

My wish:

1.6 with

* Team A/B difference removed
* Default kits selected upon load
* Aftertouch selected on load
* International teams selected on load
* PBD selectable by each player

and

* selectable overhead kicks
* player stats screen like in PM and FW

Sorry, didn't read this one before posting.

Yes 1.6 plays fine on A500s with the 512kb memory expansion.
