I have played alot alot of footy games but I think that KO2 definitely is the best (UKO probably will beat it though).

What does it so funny is that it is so skillbased.

Even if you have played the game for many years you have alot more to learn Thats also the reasson why you can have worldchampionships in the game. Does any other footy game has that?

And are ther any other footy games that is as much skill based as KO"?

What about ISS?

Nice said Kofoed... I agree.. FIFA is nothing more than hammering on your keyboard and the CPU will do the rest...

But I have played the latest ISS on the PSX2 and it looked and played like a dream.. defintely want to play that game more often.. now if I only had a psx2...

Games like Fifa and Sensi etc are pick up and play, thats why they appeal to people, your mates can all turn up with little experience and play well. Thats the nice thing about them they are fun in groups and things.

However Ko2 and UK0 play like a real game, more experience means better play.

In Fifa and Sensi you end up just wanting to score lots of goals against your mates therefore finding out a tried and tested way to do it, and it works against anyone.

In Ko2 you can play different ways and thus one opponent will be different to another meaning endless realistic games.

KO2 is the best footy game there is as it feels like playing football, you can excell yourself by training etc, it isn't reliant on how well you remember the buttons or how well you remember the goal that always works for you.

Fifa and Sensi are arcade related games, Ko2 is for people who love football.

playing ko well is an art. it is a very strategic game but still very fast.

Just the thing that it is almost impossible to play without joystick shows how much is demanded by the user.

If you play FIFa it doesn't matter if you use joyctick, gamepad or keyboard.

Anothe thing about KO is that it would be impossible to play it in cams that are used in ISS or FIFA.

Ko demands the camera which is the easiest to use.

The game that comes close to KO2 is Sensible Soccer in my opinion. In this game you can do a sliding tackle and change the direction of the ball (to keep it in play) and I miss that a little bit in KO2.
Still KO2 is the best game by far..

Eventhough GOAL! is more arcade-oriented than KO2 it still requires lots of skill to master. A proof was, to me anyway, last year at a tournament where new players came to play. There I saw (and was punished by) new ways of playing - ways I hadn't seen before, eventhough I've played on and of since 1993. So its definately possible to play in many varied ways in GOAL! if you practise enough, and get the skills.

Total Soccer (PC) needs lots of skill to play too. It's not as good as KO2 or KO2002 but until February 1st most probably the best soccer game the PC has seen.
