Yes, with the new version of WinUAE you can do a save state, which means it just saves the exact contents of the Amiga Memory as a file that you can load back up.

Anyway as I practice i'm trying to get Saved States of Set Pieces. So far I have one measily Free Kick It's suprising how few Free Kicks and Corners I can get out of the Comp. Player. Yesterday I thought I got a Corner Saved only to then carry on with the Ref. Blowing for Half Time !!

So has anyone else used this feature and is there a possibility of swapping the files ??

Practicing Free Kicks has never been easier

Wow I never thought that option! Practising fouls would me my favorite option for KO2! I'll try to use it Ely, thanx for the tip!

I never doubted that! However, I'd like to see some of your KO2 skills getting the same progress and value! I need you to be ready for Athens and give your best (not only in video recording )!
I haven't tried this yet, but I suppose there's a possible problem here: you do have to reload after the foulkick, right? How mach does it take to do that?

Well, just before the freekick takes place, press F12, and goto the `Misc` tab, click `save state` and type in freekick, now click on ok, and your back to the game, take the freekick, mess it up , press F12 and goto `Misc` tab again, and press on `load state` and press ok, and BINGO your back at the freekick again !!

Yeah it works really well. You can play a freekick over and over again till you perfect it. I was crap at freekicks, but doing this you can work it all out. As for corners, well if I ever get one saved that'd be great. I have one for the Atari ST/Steem Engine, damn that emulator shows up WinUAE big time for 'Ease of Use'. Can't complain tho. it;s not like I could write one

heehee, I started using that trick just before the Dartford tournament. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to try out my new free kick skills cos no-one ever fouled me just outside the box.

You people are sooo lazy! Plug two joysticks in your Amiga, begin a 2 player game, and use the second team players to foul the first team's at various locations. Did you really have to wait 11 years for an emulator that saves your position to figure that out?

Yup Seriously tho. Alkis, this means you can do the same Free Kick over and over again, till you get a feel for it. Having never played against Humans much I never got any practice at all, the comp. doesn't foul that often. Never had two joysticks either

Hahaha. I've just scored a 'Walk Round the Keeper' from a Top Right Hand Corner, bloody amazing goal for me, been trying to perfect that for most of the evening If anyone wants to see it I saved the State straight after the goal so i can 'replay' it

I now have all 4 Corners Saved
