Both Trevor and I seemed to notice steve camber taking advantage of the player switching as an attacking method. He seemed to hover with the ball in between two defending players. He then waited for the player in front of him to switch to a player behind him so he could charge on goal.

I have never seen anybody else do this before. It's a good idea Steve, can anybody else do this? Did he really do it on purpose or was it just a fluke?

Yeah, I do it on purpose, and it always makes me laugh when it works. I'm sure it was JamesB who used to do it to me in the old days when I was 424, and it was one of his tactics to get round my trusty #5.

I've just taken it to another level

Yes I must take the credit for that from when I was a youth playing this game.

Once Steve Camber moaned about the player switching I realised it was possible to do it on purpose.

I actually managed to do this tactic at Gloucester 3 and have been practicing the idea against my brother a lot recently.

Andy Ellis is also an expert at doing this..

Steve Camber, as usual, steals my ideas and perfects them better than myself...

Ron is also quite good a going this.We call this tactic whereby a players control switches to another player "becoming someone else".Strange use of english but thats what we call it.

When the Lobberman gets the player switch treatment it's the amusing - "Hey, you sucked my player out".

I take advantage of the poor player switching as well, but in a different way. I like to attack by running on a specific rectangle where the opponent can't choose any players until it's too late.

It's just like real football mate, you see an opening, you go for it. I didn't think it was a code error when I first started using it.
