OK, we all know that Kick Off 2 is the best soccer game ever. But how many of you agree with me that Electronic Arts's FIFA is really really really crap?

I want to make my own moves, I hate it when a computer game, like FIFA, wants to play on my behalf. And a dozen keys to perform all actions? Please! I agree with someone who posted on a different topic that it should be called Pizza Tycoon or something...

So, let's hear your opinions, FIFA, is it a bad game or a terrible game?

FIFA is a terible game. In fact most football games are crap. A lot of them look nice but their all crap to play.

Kick Off 2 remains the king 11 years on from its release.

Sensible is the only game that comes close, and it comes a very distant second.

Believe it or not but almost every wednesday evening I play 7 or 8 matches FIFA 2001 against my present and former schoolmates..
I think I played some 270 FIFA matches this year and no one single match of all these matches were as enjoyable as one game of Kick Off 2..
FIFA 2001 is a big SHAAAMMMEEE!!! They say FIFA 2002 is going to be better.. just wait and see then...

Oh in case you wonder how crazy I am to play so many FIFA matches, just check out this site: http://fvl.cjb.net
My schoolmate made this site especially for this weekly sickness event.. <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Main purpose of this weekly event is to chat and drink with each other and have some good fun of course..

Well the fact is the Fifa games are shit.
Outside of kick off2 the only football games worth playing have been the iss series.
Although the PS2 version was a disaster!

Hasn't anyone played UEFA Challenge ?

It's really good, honest, especially the PS2 version.

Go on, buy it, I've got a family to feed, and a mortgage to pay.

I think that FIA is ok! It is rather funny to play.

I just can't understand why they have that ballcontrol.

FIFA is enjoyable but not even close to KO2!

The FIFA series is for kids. Hence, no serious conversation can be held upon this subject.
The reason why I believe this is because no strategy/tactical playing can be involved except from the default which is valid for all the similar footie games: A small variety of scoring and defending... KO2 broke that roule and that's what makes it a more adult-like game.
