Konix speedKing adaptor query

This Friday I'm ordering two joysticks in order to resume ko2 duties. I'll be playing on an emulator , so usb is a must. I will also entrust these joysticks as my tournament weapons so they must be Amiga compatible.

I'd prefer to use a Konix SpeedKing but as far as I can figure out there is no usb version so I would require some sort of an adaptor.

Any recommendations please ?

Is this what I need ? http://www.retronicdesign.com/en/

Mate all depends on your PC, in particular the version of Windows you are using.

Most USB ports don't work well on 8.1 (8 not so bad, but 7 and below better!)

If you have 8.1 then I think the Retronic is the one I got that works best, I will have a proper look but if you can confirm your windows version?

I know most of them on 8.1 were VERY laggy, even tho other people said they had no lag at all, this is due to the way microsoft now handles USB, badly!

As regards the pc, it is a mac :)

Long term maybe I'll just bite the bullet and get an amiga. 2 adapters will cost $47 so that's a chunk of change that could be used against an amiga.

So to clarify, short term I will need an adaptor for the Konix, the one above should be fine right ?

Oh dear, I've entered multiple Ebay bidding wars. I could end up with a couple of compeition pros and a couple of speedkings but with nothing to plug them into!

Better bid on a couple of amigas now too !

this is the best one. with this you have got 2 joysticks ports. instead of one. and the price is very good! I use it with windowsXP SP3 and there is no lag at all.
the problem is that you need a welder and tin. if you are good with this, enjoy it!

Today is the day.

I'm in the lead for 4 joysticks not that I want 4. I'm hopeful that I will be outbid on a number of these as my main focus is on 2 comp pros with a usb adapter and 1 Konix SpeedKing. Some of you may not know that the SpeedKing enables 100% BLC accuracy!

So 6 hours to go until the end of the main auction. I have the cash and will defeat any Ebay competitors.
