KO2 fact for the day - foul avoidance

Postby Steve Camber » Sat Aug 18, 2012 5:37 am

Each player has a defending/tackling skill.
This feeds into the ref's decision to give a foul, so if Cox brings down a player the ref is less likely to blow the whistle than if Barber brings down a player.
I guess that makes sense. Nice one Dino!

Had anybody already noticed that?

I had noticed (but presumed I was imagining) that the strikers seem to get more yellow cards and give away free kicks than the defenders.....I presumed it was just something random and that you tend to slide more when on attack as you get 'giddy' but I guess I was right all along.

once again thanks mate ;)
