There is definitely room for more tutorials to demonstrate KO2 techniques, but for now just a written tutorial on trapping:

To trap the ball, you need to first press the button BEFORE you touch the ball. If you instead press the button right after having touched the ball, you will make a shot.

So, you press the button, and keep it pressed until you touch/run into the ball. Then the ball will be trapped on the player.

Now, what will happen next depends on where your joystick is directed once you RELEASE the button. If you move in any of the 8 directions, you will make a pass with the ball. If, instead, you center the joystick and THEN release the button, the ball will remain centered on the player. If you do the latter, you then thus have the ball dead on the player and your joystick is totally cancelled. You can then move in any direction and you will dribble in that direction.

So to do a stop'n'go dribble, there are 3 steps:

1) Press button and keep it pressed until you touch and trap the ball.
2) Center joystick before button release.
3) Move in a direction again to carry on dribbling.

It becomes more natural after a bit of practice.
