Saving Goals on KO2 PC Version

Postby decca » Wed Aug 26, 2009 5:45 pm

Hello there,

a big thank you for the "how to play KO2 on your PC" video and instructions. It was so easy even I managed to do it.

I am now currently enjoying re-living my youth playing the greatest game ever made. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to save goal replays as video files or similar? or whether this is possible?

Thank you in advance.

:)

Hi decca,

Your thank-you note made my day :-)

To record goal replays, you can use just WinUAE. I have made a brief text tutorial in the first post of this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14916

A bit below is the hint to use the resolution 640x480 to get recordings without black borders.

Sorry, I just recall now that this WinUAE way of recording goals require that you use the standard WinUAE emulator and not the special purpose built KO2 version. You can either try to play KO2 with this standard WinUAE emulator (google/ask if you need help), or...

you can use the program fraps (http://fraps.com/) to record. fraps is extremely easy to use. I have only one important piece of advice regarding fraps:

You should either:

1) Pay for it and use the purchased version, or...

2) Find a proper pirated version.

Under no circumstances should you use the demo/trial version.
