I'm shocked to see that 0.99 was released almost a year ago :shock:

So, in time for the Athens World Cup here at long last is v1.00. So what's new? I had a huge list of features to add for 1.00, and I'm pleased to say that many of them are in.

Features
- New loading screens are possible.
- FOUL and PENALTY speech imported from KO Extra Time.
- Goal keepers can be made (even more) stupid, just for fun.
- Corner bug fixed. (wrong end of pitch)
- Throw in bug fixed. (wrong team awarded throw)
- Extra player stats displayed in pause menu.
- Players can be removed from the field or brought back on. Useful when Amigas fail mid-match.
- Goal types are identified and instantly named along with physical statistics.
- An option is available to be able to control the power of a chip.
- Keepers can be upgraded to stop lobs like Final Whistle keepers.
- CPU opposition can be made to run as fast as human players.
- Two leg menu available when the game is paused.
- Aggregate score is automatically displayed when the ball is out of play in a 2 leg match.
- Extra time and penalties are automatically triggered in a 2 leg match
- Free kick scorer gets credit for it at last!
- Number of fouls by each team is displayed when a foul is given.
- Number of corners awarded by each team is displayed when a corner is given.
- Number of yellow cards by each team is displayed when a yellow card is given.
- Number of red cards by each team is displayed when a red card is given.
- "Distance out" stats given when the ball goes out for a goal kick.
- Woodwork hits, reds, yellows, fouls, average goal dist, possession, shots, shots on target all given at the end of a half or updated live during a game.
- Referees stopwatch can be modified during the game, along with other times, and also the current score.
- Autoslides and unintended slides are not disabled in this Athens WC release.

: Remove Team A Advantage - already `ticked` because this is one of the KOA Tornament rules.
: Stop The Slide Bug - toggle on and off ( stop random slides on/off )
: Stop Auto Slides - toggle on and off ( stop auto slides CPU/Human )

NEXT PAGE ( 2nd )

: Backpass Rule - toggle on/off crude backpass rule. [ver 0.91]
: No Team Reset - Teams are reset between matches. ( toggle on/off ) [ver 0.93]
: Free Kick Mode - toggle on/off ( Take the ball to where you want to take the free kick from. Hit F2 to set the position. Get possession of the ball and Hit F3. A free kick will be taken from the selected position. When you have possession of the ball again, hit F3 to take again.. and again. [ver 0.93]
: Joysticks In Replay - toggle on/off ( to record the joystick input in replays (( to see what direction you were putting the joystick )). [ver 0.94]
: VBL Timing on - toggle on/off ( VBL timing feature was used to track down a slowdown bug which affected the A500 in recent releases. [ver 0.96]
: Event Number on - This was used to track all the events in the game. Each event ( goal kick, free kick etc ) had an event number ( displayed in the right hand corner ) There are 48 in total. [ver 0.96]
: Original Wind - This option was put in to bring back the original wind. It was adjusted in ver 0.75. [ver 0.96]
: Pitch Walls - JFF - .. to have a 5aside kinda effect.. where the ball never goes out of play. [ver 0.98]
: Powered chip - The code was already in the game, Steve has just enabled it ( allows you to perform different powered chips with a different combinations of oposite joystick direction time. [ver 1.00]

: Digital Numbers - JFF - again in the code.. Steve has just enabled the digital clock font. [ver 0.85]
: PBD Madness - JFF - Penalty Box Dribble, but all over the pitch.. not just in and around the box. toggle on/off. [ver 0.85]
: High Gravity - JFF - High/low gravity effect on the ball only. [ver 0.85]
: 2x Aftertouch - JFF - 2x the amount of aftertouch effect. toggle on/off. [ver 0.87]
: 10x Aftertouch - JFF - 10x the amount of aftertouch effect. toggle on/off. [ver 0.87]

: CPU Pace = Human - JFF - Makes the CPU the same speed as the human player ( faster ) [ver 1.00]

IN GAME KEYS

Pressing P Pauses the game. Here you can view Team A and B formations, the referre and the direction of play for Team A and B
Also you can view the new 2nd leg options. You can set the score from the 1st leg and it will show you the aggregate score when the ball is out of play ( bottom right hand corner ) Going to be used for WC Athens `08.
Pressing ']' key gives you page 2 of the Pause menu. Here you can view the players status, fouls and cards. Also the players passing shooting and defending stats. This is used for bringing on and sending off players if there is a mid game crash ( if you have a player sent off and you have to restart the fixture, you can set the game exactly how it was before the crash.
Pressing ']' key again gives you Pause page 3. Here you can change different values relating to how long the half should take, total game time, amount of time added, audio mode ( L, R or NORMAL ). You can even add or remove goals for each time. Use this menu page with the arrow keys.
Pressing '[' will take you back a pause memu page.
