KO 2 - Special events + data disks

Postby zappa » Wed Sep 17, 2008 11:51 am

Hi,

Just wondering if it is possible to have some other 'special events' up and running next to the available World cup.
I could find some data disks on the web (e.g. giants of europe), but none of them is working while running Amiga Forever 2008.

Is there any editing tool available to have your own leagues, tournaments,... created?

Many thanks 8)

Good questions, Zappa! I'm afraid I can't help with them but would be interested to hear any answers...

Until I saw your post I'd never thought of the KOA as standing for KO Addicts!  You've certainly come the right place, that's for sure!

Welcome btw :)

Thanks a lot... 8)

The 'Giants of Europe' data disk is working fine now...

You need to have the 'Return to Europe' version up and running to be able to have these teams loaded (options menu -> load league teams).

Brilliant news! Where there's a will, there's a way... :)

I've played it myself but must check it out sometime. Does it actually have a champions league format (with both league and knock out stages?).

You probably already know but we use a competition version of KO2 for tournaments - KO2CV - well worth a look too! 8)

Unfortunately, this version does not contain the champions league format; only knock out stages. It's like in the old days: Klinsmann playing for Inter Milan...

This competition version looks great. Who created this version? This person must definitely know whether an editing tool exists or not? :eeko:
