Barber for me is far better.

he seems to score more goals on average and I certainly feel more confident if I see his name when I have the ball.

I think Barber's shots are a bit more accurate, but Nicholls has a slightly better aftertouch (so good for DIIIG goals)

Certainly Barber. He's the main reason I picked 5-3-2 as my main tactic, because he's a much better attacking peak than Nicholls.

Certainly it depend by the tactic used. I play 424 so 90% of my goals are scored by Nicholls.

I'd instinctively have said Barber too. Mainly a 532 player now I regularly sub Nicholls so to have more pace when chasing the diagonal goal kick.

Given that both subs have inferior attributes, does it make even less sense to sub a tired Nicholls when playing 424, as he's your lead striker ?

I don't understand why Nicholls gets subbed by people. I value his toughness and accuracy, even when he slows down later on.

I voted nicholls.

For me Barber might score most of the goals but I think that has more to do with him being the main front man on 5-3-2. Nicholls edged the vote though for his lobbing ability. If you want to KO lob, he's the man. :D

Playing 424 a slow Nicholls can really become frustrating when he has to chase a long ball. But yeah, he does have a great finish.

The current and ex world champion votes for Nichols. Two votes should be added.

Thanks.
I vote for Nicholls, he has the best ball control than anyone else. his low speed in second half allows to control better the ball. Probably it is one of the reasons because I usually score more goal in second half than the first one, no matter the side of the pitch.

Note to self: Injure Nicholls before the second half next time I play against Gianni.
