Exactly! Like I said earlier, an unwise or unliked feature does not a bug make.

One thing that's confusing me about this thread. Why do people keep talking about cars?

Because they're dead good, silly.

I trust Campervan will have a more detailed and code based explanation than 'because it's unwise/unliked'.

You are an intelligent man, see if you can spot the reason.

I hope you're not seriously suggesting that it's a bug because it's a 2 player game?

As I said, I trust you have a code based explanation?

There is no reason for a forced home team advantage in every KO2 match. It's a complete screw up, an oversight, a bug.

It screws up the cup mode, including World Cup 90. What a joke! Then of course we have two player mode - it was only recently that the first ever fair game of KO2 was played. How many thousands (millions?) of KO2 games have been played over the years by kids who didn't know it wasn't a fair fight?

It's a shocking bug to leave in the game, and I'm SO glad it has been fixed.

Even with TeamA=TeamB stats are pro TeamA, i mean we don't yet reached the 50% winning ratio. Maybe there are still few diferences between teams?

Gianluca, I think that kind of statistic is related to real player who handle the joystick, for example if you play 100 games as team A, I suppose that someone may think that team A is advantaged because TEAM A won 95 games.

I'm pretty sure this issue is solved, Steve guarantees that the code is now clean and Team A = Team B. Why would Steve lie to us? If he wasn't 100% certain, I'm sure he would say so.

Avg score before Team N: 3.65 - 2.93
Avg score after Team N: 3.49 - 3.38

Surely the .11 difference can be attributed to one or more of the factors below:

-Statistical error: Not all tournaments have "home & away" matches and we have no idea in how many of these games the favorite was Team A. To get an absolute 50%, you'd need two players of absolutely identical strength playing an infinite number of matches.
-Psychological reasons: People got too used to playing with the weaker team when they're Team B
-The fact that some people prefer sitting on the left of the screen than on the right
-Not enough games; perhaps after a couple of thousand we'll get there.

-The fact that some people prefer sitting on the left of the screen than on the right

One more factor:
The fact that some people prefer sitting in the middle, pushing opponent to another desk, using the telescope to watch the monitor... Please Robert, do you mind to change my tactic? I'm far from the keyboard! :)
