Goalkeeper(not me, Fisher) injured

Postby goalkeeper » Mon Mar 31, 2008 12:12 pm

Unbelievable things happen a day befor Kickoffmania!
Uli P. had injured my goalkeeper with a brutal foul. (We play CV 0.97)
Now he is really the bloodiest bastard in the KOA, i think :)
If you didn´t see such a curious substitution in your KO-Life, i will ask him for the handyclip we taken from this.

This is something I've heard from some people in the past, but I've never, ever seen it! If you have a video please give it to us.
Remember, remember, the 4th and the 3rd of November

O.K., i called Uli and he´ll visit me tommorrow evening(9 o´clock german time).
Because of changing format(we don´t know what data type it is or ever post a handyclip) you should see it short before sleeping time to have nice dreams.

When I played on my Atari, this thing happened... 1 time in 18 years :P
More happening : a foul on goalkeeper because auto-slide -_-

Or maybe it's just as it is because I have an Atari version ^^"

...I don't know. I've never considered that it could be possible but 'keepers account sounds convincing. I'm sure watching his evidence will be easier than looking at the code :)

What John said!

I remember seeing the keeper injured once. It was years ago on the atariST, but don't know if it was KO2 or FW.

It will be interesting to analyse the video, hopefully enough of it was captured to reveal the cause.

I've seen it before ... it happens when a player off the ball auto-slides and the 'keeper collides with him when trying to run to collect the ball. Very rare though ... would love to see this captured on film.

It happen a couple or maybe 3 times in 18 years to me. in the eraly 90s, and last time before the 1st KOA WC.
One of the most funny thing that can happen on a game :D

...incredible!

And good ol' Fisher soldiered on to take his 'look disgustedly at the ball in the back of the net' stance in spite of his crushing injury

I take it the goal stood then - and the referee didn't blow for a foul?
