Kick off on Xbox Live?

Postby Steve1977 » Sun Jan 07, 2007 4:54 pm

What with people attempting to recreate the game warts and all, is the ultimate intention to offer it for retail in the form of those controllers with games built in?

Or howabout putting it on XBox Live like they are doing with Sensible Soccer? I believe Steve Screech is now working for BGS on Championship Manager but would Dino Dini ever return to produce an exact replication of Kick Off on XBOX Live, PS3 Live or anything live for that matter so we could have organised online tournmaments etc.

KO2 with the 360 Pad would be bloody awful though. SWOS will be okay though as it's a much slower game.

Ely, I know what you mean...even with a controller on SWOS its nigh on impossible to be any real threat - particulary when playing someone on the net.

So Iv invested in one of these beautys!

I think Kick Off 2 would work really well on Xbox Live. Ok the controller isn't the best suited to it but I'm sure we could adapt......I'd even force myself to buy microsoft points to be able to play this again!

wow, that stick looks the business! If I ever did get a XBox 360 Id probably spend all my time playing the retro Arcade games! (so im sticking with emulators cause its cheaper hehe)
But that stick looks the business - it reminds me of the early Atari 2600 joysticks (apart from the extra buttons) which were quite sturdy for me - hopefully, this will have the same qualities.

Retro joysticks are making a comeback people! and its great that now Competition Pro appear to have some competition because Im presuming that this stick is going to be USB?
