Very good idea Alkis.

Keeper mode - KO2/PM

CPU AI mode - KO2/PM

Aftertouch - ON/OFF

I actually would choose. (PM, PM, OFF).

But... Then you can play the original game, so what's the hassle? The idea here is to implement KO2 - and the changes Steve's allready made with KO2 - into PM, thus making it a game more compatible with the KOA's wishes today. With your choices (no, I don't question your rights to choose whatever you want), you're playing the original game, so why not just do that...

Ok. I see. Well, I have to say that the game-engine is the biggest MUST to change. All the other aspects are welcomed bonuses.

I have discussed off side in KO2 or now here PM before with gianluca, i want only to tell you about one of his ideas. perhaps he may confirm soon.

The idea is to not have off side but to have the player always forced to stay AT LEAST in line with the last defender also if the tactic tells the player to be beyond. You can go behind the defender if the player has the focus and is not automatized anymore. This has the advantage of not having attackers within the penalty box where they could not stay, and to NOT HAVE ON THE NASTY OFF SIDE ROUTINE WHICH MOST PEOPLE HATES IN KO2.

Camber should tell us if it possible to implement the Troiano anti-offside routine in both PM and KO2.

Missed WC 2011, 2010 and 2009: this should stop in future; WC 2008 placed 29th; WC2007 placed 15th (CO-ORGANIZER OF THE WORLDCUP); WC2006 placed 32th; WC2005 placed 24th

That's a feature implemented in KO2002. If it's possible in KO2 or PM I don't know, but it would be cool.

Yep very good feature.

I noticed that it was something like this in KO2002 however I remember that the referee whistled for offside sometimes anyway. I actually think it is fun if you rarely get offsides whistles. The KO 2002 offside system was surely great.

Absolutely. Implementing this feature should not stop all offsides, but rather lower the risk of one of your players running into offside position.

Of course if the ball is beyond the last defender then the attacker will place on that imaginary line.
This method is already implemented in Throw In and works great.
