Get compiling!

I'm having a look right now (during my lunch break!).

One early decision to make is whether to put KO2 stuff into PM or put the PM stuff into KO2CV. It's a lot of work either way. Maybe just start with some simple PM changes anyway ;)

Which disk image is the most stable? http://www.ko-gathering.com/wiki/index. ... r#Download

Note: Jesper has made a version with KO2 pitch and ball, perhaps it's a good starting point.

OK my wishlist follows. Note that I'd be happy with just 1.1 & 1.2 implemented, but you asked for a full list. :)
I'm prepared to pay for the priviledge.

1. GAMEPLAY

1.1 **IMPORTANT** I want to play as Team even if my Player Manager is not playing!!! First priority please!
1.2 The exact Kick Off 2 gameplay (aftertouch on)
1.3 PBD on/off choice
1.4 Much better computer AI (or at least enhanced computer teams such as the Polyrakis & Troiano teams in KOACV)
1.5 KO2 throw-ins, freekicks and corner kicks
1.6 Replays

2. MANAGER

2.1 Multiple international leagues, ideally the Top 16 of UEFA (HINT: The KOA can help!)
2.2 Champions League & UEFA Cup
2.3 Large database of randomly generated names
2.4 Top Scorers table
2.5 Option to buy players from any team at any time of the year
2.6 More good players in the Transfer list. In fact, more good players, period (most players in the PM disk are crap).
2.7 Player trading option
2.8 Top scorers table
2.9 International teams
2.10 European Championships
2.11 Earlier starting age for the player manager

3. GRAPHICS

3.1 All four Kick Off 2 pitches
3.2 Multiple kits, and option to choose your team's kit before the match
3.3 Kick Off 2 ball
3.4 Enhanced menus (ok, you can leave that one for next week)
Remember, remember, the 4th and the 3rd of November

Will you work for Iggy's standard hourly rate instead?

OK, carrots it is!

1.1 looks easy enough, but it's going to be a while before I can turn all that HEX into something which can be understood and modified... Not as long as it took to understand KO2 though as a lot of the work is already done. As soon as I can see what's going on I'll know how easy (hard) it will be to perform transplant surgery between KO2 and PM.

I think a managerial game without offside was ok 20 years ago but now is pretty ridicolous so bring the offside from FW, correct it and put on Kick Off Manager, thanks

btw after Kick Off 2 competition version, what will be the name of the next generation of player manager?? Kick Off Manager??

I had not thought of that! Any ideas?

Offside could be reprogrammed if required.

mmm after the aftertouch implemention on PM the offside should be the next step.
Otherwise it'll be ridicolous easy to win against the computer, we'll just need to put 2 forwards sit on penalty area all the time and serve them with long shoots from midfield to score easily.
For sure offside will add more challenge to the new game.
