Ok After a weekend of KO2 non-stop I must apologise to Rob Swift and Alkis and Vas and the others..

I am now a 5-3-2 convert, I find that even though it is more solid at the back, it somehow compliments my play going forward and I can create as many chances.

Obviously 4-2-4 will be there if I need to change, but I find 5-3-2 has as many possibilities, you just have to build up attacks in a more refined way....

So at Glos I will be playing 5-3-2.
Well at least for some games that is...

I tried the same thing in Dartford and didn't work out... so I changed back to my fav 4-2-4 asap and now I can tell that I play almost 80% of my capability. It will be 100% in November though. <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

I have been 532 ever since I purchased KO2...

For a short while, having suffered numerous defeats by Steve Camber on 424 I switched to 424 to compete.

I then realised that 424 was poor defensively and switched back to 532.

The reason I lost to Steve Camber all those times was that at that time Steve Camber was simply a better player than me and any formation I would use he would still beat me.

Now its a different story, having beaten Steve Camber at Dartford and also at the Gloucester tournament XMAS 2001 rather convincingly as well.

So I am sticking with 532 .........

The think I most like about 4-2-4 is that you don't have to press 4 every time you kick off <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Hehe.. yeah I believe the reason we all started with 4-2-4 and stack to it for some time was that it was the quickest way to start a game!
Remember, remember, the 4th and the 3rd of November

Do you guys ever switch during a game by pressing the 1,2,3 or 4 button?
I personally never choose a tactic before the game.

I always press the keys to change, I never ever change tactic before the game as I can never be bothered sending my Jstick all round the screen etc.

Same reason I always kick off with the default teams, as Alkis says its the quickest way to start a game, he is spot on.

Load Ko2
Press fires past credits
Go to options
Go to aftertouch...on
go to Single Game

Game on....

That sequence leaves you playing 1st div. instead of International. No Nicholls? No Barrett? No Barber? NO NEED!

If you select SKILL LEVEL INTERNATIONAL ,are the players really different than SKILL LEVEL DIV 1 ?

Yes Danny the international skill level is a good bit up from first division,a good bit faster as well.
