one of this value should be "variability". I recall dino talking about Zappa and said this referee act like the musician: he quite never made the same thing twice...

I bet the 3rd value is variability and second is red card possibility :D

Wasn't there a ref stat for how many fouls he 'sees' ?

Yes, that's Column 4.

100 I. BALL - Nothing escapes him, bring down a player and he will blow the whistle.

25 A.N. INDI - He will spot 1 in 4 fouls, but be careful, he only gives out red cards.

Didn't remember that until that second match against Gianluca in Groningen. :(

I don't know how this applies to Steve's stats ... but V Jones will see most tackles and always issue a yellow card per foul but never a straight red iir - Naz and I use him as default ref for the last 15 years

If 200, then just give a straight red. If less than 200 and a card is given, then add onto the number of fouls the player has comitted, making a 2nd card more likely.

Does this mean that refs with 0 in the second column never give red cards?
This is dangerous information in the wrong hands!

Erm... Steve, can you please alter the second column values so all refs have at least 100? Non filthy KO thanks you.

No, the number of fouls will continue to increase, meaning a red card will still follow eventually.

V.Jones should be used as the 'control' here.

He gives a yellow card for every foul.

Column 1 is the chance of the foul receiving a card (low is higher).
Column 2 is the chance of the card being red.

For the others, interested in the answers...

Suspect that 4 may well be chance of a tackle being given as a foul, but I also thought this was related to the Tackling score of the player? Steve?

Steve - the best experiment is to compare V.Jones with F.Willis.

See if F.Willis gives a yellow for every foul, then see who has the higher propsensity to award a foul?

I gave the answers to the quiz halfway down the first page.

Kinda silly to keep guessing

Correct, 4 is the chance of the ref seeing a player getting tripped up and blowing the whistle.
The Tackling score of the player decides who wins the ball when two players meet (no sliding involved, so a separate issue).
