then what about making 2 versions?
- a 'just for fun' version with gameplay altered
- a professional version with original gameplay

Great idea! Then Alkis could become World Champion of the 'just for fun' version

We`ll always have a competition ( not messed with ) version and a version to test out ideas on version..
Personally I like the ideas of Foxy!

and of course mixed PBD do not alter the gameplay...

I think we should give freedom of action to Camber till he has time & motivation to do so and keep playing the classic version on big tournaments for obvious reasons.

It's only thanks to steve that we still write about the game.

I'm considering the idea of a single version, with an extra menu on the main menu screen.

Here all the new options can be selected, both practical and just for fun. If a JFF option is switched on, then obvious warnings will appear that the game is not in a "competition-safe" mode. JFF options could be completely disabled for big competitions for added safety.

Yes and with adjustable camera views too. Over the shoulder and behind the goal would be good ones. Come on Camber get it sorted, I thought you were good.

I know that, I was talking about alternative camera views, not just the top down one.

Not so easily implemented I think. :)

Alternative camera views will be in the replay(+match) viewer.
A whole new project there for someone to take up.

I recall someone promised a 3D replay(+match) viewer with multiple cameras made with the 3D engine of a suspended game in the past :D
