I've created some joystick adapters to allow me to use 'real' joysticks while playing uKO or KO2 on a pc via an emulator.

Anyway, I knocked up a crappy website (with pictures!) to help anyone out who might want to do the same thing :

If you want any advice on making your own adapter, just mail me.

Steve (everyone), i'm just about to make an Interface that connects Atari 9Ways to the PC Gameport. This means they'll work with any games for the PC.

If anyone want the circuit diagram just email me, I got it off a German Web Siet that I think was mentioned on the old Forum.

I'll let you all know how I get on, Soldering is not my best skill

How about taking orders, making some money?

I for one wouldn't mind buy at set, that enabled me and a mate to play with our fav Suzo Arcade joysticks on the PC, if the price was fair. And if (when) UKO get's going for real, maybe a lot of people would be interested in getting some. Who knows - maybe you could get rich of all us lazy guys around the world Ofcourse the merchandise had to be solid an nice, but that's no problem, is it?

How about it?

I don't want to make loads of adapters myself - my medium is software, not hardware, and I just don't have the time right now !
But if you are going to attempt to make one yourself, I'll give out advice for free.

(The adapter allows the joysticks to be used for any DirectX game, i.e. anything written over the last 5 years, including WinSTon and WinUAE etc)

Got a soldering iron out and dive in !

Fair enough. But I think I'll wait around for the "In a box" solution - Told you I was lazy

Anyone else wanna make some money?;

If only it was that easy.

I've just finished my Interface, does it work,
does it f**k. Need to get round my Dad's house and borrow a Multi-Meter and see what's wrong with it. The Button Works though

Hi Steve,

Many thanks for the adapter details.

I can now happily destroy my brother at KO2 with him using his crappy Quicksot 2 deluxe and me with my awesome Competition Pro 5000 stick..

Once again...many thanks !!!!
