Dear all,

I was well impressed with me this morning.

I always seem to score about twice as many when playing up the screen.

Anyway this morning, first half I was kicking down the screen and scored 6 goals in one half (my best ever down was 4).

Now normally I manage about 5,6 or 7 going up on a good day so my record of 10-0 was going well out the window.

However I didn't score at all in the second half, major shame <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif">

Anyway, whats all your records for one half kicking down? I presume you are all similar in that you score more when shooting upwards...

When i go to play the game i certainly feel more comfortable shooting up the pitch, though i dont know why this should be. But to be perfectly honest it doesnt actually seem to make a difference to my play or the amount i score. Sometimes i score more going up and sometimes more going down.

10 goals in each half is my best so far. I'm up to bigger things though. <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Firstly, things must be getting serious Durbs. is now practicing in the morning and I did play b4 work today as well.

I feel I play better up the pitch, no doubt about it. Best going up is 7 I think whilst down is 5, thus I should be able to get a 12-0 if all went perfectly. Still i'm happy with 9-0 for now. Amazing how practice makes a diff. tho.

One oddity for me is that my top 3 best are against 5-3-2 whilst I seem to struggle agsainst 4-2-4, very odd !!

I think up and down has something to do with the joystick, I think its easier for your hand to push up on the stick or pad...

I reckon thats all it is, for example most games (driving, shootemups etc) have u pushing up most of the time and down is rarely used (other than breaking etc!)

I dunno, but I am crap when shooting down the pitch...then again I'm not much better up the pitch....

I'm going to lose so badly at Glos <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif">

That can be very useful in a competition Ely! Most people will be using 5-3-2 after Alkis' victory! <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Yeah I was thinking that Vas. mate, you never know my luck <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Durbs. You can't be that bad, I have as yet never beaten the comp. in double figures and you've done it with a GamePad i'm guessing whilst i'm using my prefered Joystick. Must get some practice against the Comp. on a real Amgia.

That sounds bad mate. I suggest you to glue the adaptor on the TV scart shocket. <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">
