Goal Scoring Tutorial (video)

Great video - love it...have gleaned some ideas for scoring (or giving me a better chance) - but I have one Q...are any of these considered routines? Like the half-way lob goal - surely these are sweet-spots that using is almost 'cheating'?

When you guys play (either in general or when setting 'high scores') where do you 'draw the line' - if at all?

It's just a pet peeve that (esp with Fifa online) does my head in - I mean, where's the true skill in scoring one of the 'sweet spot' goals? I guess if everyone knows them then it's fair game - some are clearly down to skill and it would be harsh to call them as 'routines' - but I'm guessing from the comments that anything goes?

I believe I read a post saying that a particular member will not shake the hand of someone who uses routines - if that's the case is there a list of which is considered a routine?

Life is a routine mate.....

I would suggest that for every ROUTINE GOAL in KO2, there is an equal change of a defence that can counteract it.

so its not so much routine goals, but practiced goals which can be stopped with the right defence or knowing where the killer pass will be made and getting there first.

There are a few times when you know you have missed the chance to stop a goal, and then its up to the skill of your opponent, so not just a case of button mashing........but there is always a challenge to react to and to review and finally to revenge your opponent;)

I don't think there are any unstoppable goals.. if there were then we would have all learned them and the game would have quickly died.
There are plenty of COMMON GOALS, attacks that have a good chance of success in the right hands, but all are preventable if you have defensive skills.

Personally I draw the line at kick off lobs and diving to get a penalty. Others restrict themselves more, while others have no problem with those. Each to their own!

The skill is in getting to those spots. You will find that there are people in this forum who are good enough to deny you every single one of them more often than not.

I guess so, it just means it's harder from people to get into the action because they have 3 things to master - the game (which in itself is a big ask lol), the way to score routine goals and the way to stop people scoring routine goals!! Problem with the stopping routine goals is you won't get practice on those without playing against real players...still at least there's an online option

Couldn't even get close to attempting one of these goals last night - had around 70 shots combined and I tried the 'half-way lob' a couple of times - the rest is just me trying to get into a shooting position, I don't have the time to consider options!
