Throw In Beta v0.03 is ready!!!

I just had a friendly with my brother and i enjoyed it really much.
I think if you have a joystick and a human to play against the game is already nice.
Of course it's not Kick Off but i think there is a chance to improve the game....
I only need your help

It would be interesting to hear about your friendlies against someone.
If have any idea, or if you have discovered a bug not present in the .txt file let me know.

Thank you guys,
like Alkis said, from now this game is a part of my life :D

got the beta, return key caused some problems than resolved ;)
it seems impressive in the first sight
good implementation of ball control
i get passed the keeper by skilled touches :D thats the weak shoot bug i think :P
also at the left corner of the penalty box upper side keeper eats tons of goals, even he gets into his own net.
not tested much, to be continued.. 8)

I got the beta, but when I go to start game and press enter nothing happens.

Does it take a while to start loading, or does it happen straight away?

Didn't know about the patch, this was the only topic I had read. But I've got the patch now.

Thanks.

I played 0.03 for the last week and I think it's excellent. PBDribble doesn't work though. I tried to activate it with F2 but had not luck.

I have a few comments:

a) Keepers are more close to FW ie they don't get out of the smaller box. Can you alter their behaviour to go outside that box too. Other than that, they have a good behaviour but are a bit tough. It's not easy to score.

b) It seems to me that in all shots, the ball traves at the same speed. I think that in lower shots, the ball should drive faster.

c) When you change a seeting (ie PBDribble on/off) you should be able to see what you selected. For example, a simple text line can appear on screen saying "PBDribble On' etc etc

My comments are personal. Gianluca, you can always make your own tests and come with an outcome. It will be your outcome. It doesn't mean that you have to do it because x said so.

Excellent stuff matey. Well done...

This is the nicest thing you could tell me! :D
Giacomo is crazy for my game, he told me he enjoy a lot our matches...

I think in the next beta there will be no more PBD.
Throw In ball control is different from KO2, it seems you have more control.PBD seeems useless in TI.

Keepers will be different form v0.03.In KO2 you score ONLY if you have a good timing. In Throw In you can score everytime from the same position.I would like to emulate KO2 keepers from this point of view.

Beside he should go out of the smaller box....
However i think he is amazing when he goes out with a cross.

b) It seems to me that in all shots, the ball traves at the same speed. I think that in lower shots, the ball should drive faster.

Nikos, you seem read my mind

c) When you change a seeting (ie PBDribble on/off) you should be able to see what you selected. For example, a simple text line can appear on screen saying "PBDribble On' etc etc

WTF!There is a text shown for 3 seconds.I cannot understand why it doesn't work with the major part of PC.

My comments are personal. Gianluca, you can always make your own tests and come with an outcome. It will be your outcome. It doesn't mean that you have to do it because x said so.

Giacomo is an excellent coach & an excellent tester.
We are lucky.

Players collision are going to rock!
Thery are similar to KO2 but just a little bit more solid.
More news soon

Yeah Beta 3 is looking good. 8)
One suggestion for the next beta?:

Either implement slide tackles, or make player's have different speed as its difficult to tackle players- with this and also the ball not going out for a throw on my hand got knackered after about 5 minutes with no time for a breather

I think next beta will have player collisions, slides, corner kicks, throw in.
The game should be more complete
