What do you want from Throw In?

Postby TheFoxSoft » Sun Mar 28, 2004 10:03 pm

I mean do you want a pure KO2 remake or you want some more gameplay updates?
I think i will add some gameplay updates like as:
-Offside
-Directionable headers
-Directionable tackles
-Solid collisions ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)
-Players acceleration ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)
-More individual skills
-Volleys ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)
-Game pad mode
-Pro Evolution Soccer Mode (you press buttons and CPU does the rest  )
-Human keeper
-LAN/web game

Is there any extra-feature you want?

these are nice ideas,
playing as an individual player is also a good thing , there can be many things for playing one player camera based on the player etc..
dont forget the refferees :)
hmm backpass rule should be involved
also being the game name throw ins should be something original from all the other games.
i learned playing kick off , before learning how to read and how to write.. birthdate : 19.07.1984

If it works, then yes.

-Directionable headers

Yes

-Directionable tackles

Yes

-Solid collisions ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)

No. As I said to you in the past, Goal! is lacking in this....

-Players acceleration ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)

No.

-More individual skills

More than the ones in KO2? Examples?

-Volleys ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)

Sorry I prefer football.

-Game pad mode

:?:

-Pro Evolution Soccer Mode (you press buttons and CPU does the rest  )

 No F*CKING WAY!

-Human keeper

No.

-LAN/web game

Yes...

Is there any extra-feature you want?

3 substitutions, Import tactics  , KO2 bugs...

Agreed,only if it doesn't ruin KO2 gameplay

-Directionable headers

Yes

They are already in the game

-Directionable tackles

Yes

-Solid collisions ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)

No. As I said to you in the past, Goal! is lacking in this....

I want to do an experiment, we can test it.I'm pessimist about it, but we can give it a try.

-Players acceleration ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)

No.

Read above...This doesn't mean i will program it

-More individual skills

More than the ones in KO2? Examples?

Tactical skills, and coach skills.

-Volleys ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)

Sorry I prefer football.

This is dangerous...

-Game pad mode

:?:

An easy control for the players who don't have a joystick. It should be a kind of Oracle control for all over the pitch.

-Pro Evolution Soccer Mode (you press buttons and CPU does the rest  )

 No F*CKING WAY!

What can i do?This is the market.....I'm thinking to program 2 different games in one. An ELITE mode and a PES mode....this is the only way to sell

-Human keeper

No.

I meant human keeper ONLY in playing position

-LAN/web game

Yes...

Is there any extra-feature you want?

I wouldnt like a pure remake. i think this is senseless, since everybody who wants to play KO2 can do so with an Amiga emulator. And the remake will never be as good as the original, so you´d be criticised!!! :P

-Offside
Yes

-Directionable headers
Yes

-Directionable tackles
Yes

-Solid collisions ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)
Why not give it a try???

-Players acceleration ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)
Mmmm I dont think it´ll work

-More individual skills
i dont think a game of this kind needs many skills

-Volleys ? (only if it fits with KO2 gameplay)
Why not give it a try???

-Game pad mode
I dont know what u mean, but i only have gamepad, so OK :D

-Pro Evolution Soccer Mode (you press buttons and CPU does the rest )
I think the only button that could maybe work here is the one to steal the ball without tackling

-Human keeper
Mmmm difficult...

-LAN/web game
YES!!!!!!! Mainly web game :D

Well, and Id also like a beta soon :D:D:D But I guess u have lot of work
Matchday 2 & Spectrum forever!

What do you mean by "Directionable tackles"? How do you imagine that?

Next time, you should ask Alkis to demonstrate them in Un-Sensible Soccer.

something about that...When you slide you could avoid to pass to an opponent.
With directional tackle you could even score some goals...
