Using a database in Blitz3D

Postby Calimero » Mon Jun 20, 2005 6:23 pm

Gianluca, did you know there are some libraries available for Blitz3D that make it possible to use a database like MySQL, MS-SQL or Access?
When you're going to use much data for clubs, players and career mode statistics it may be useful to try this out
You could use structured query language (SQL) to search through players on the transfer market or for gathering historical results and such.

I'v seen 2 libraries being mentioned on the internet:
- BlitzSQL
- BlitzData

Do you know about them and have you tried them out?

I'll see if I can use the Blitz3D trial version for that.
Would be very nice to do some hands-on work for TI 8)
