Right Danny, looked at your example again.
are we saying we want the GRASS as the background or the PITCH?
There seems to be a mismatch of opinion.
If its the GRASS (ie a repeatable png that makes the background look like its the KO2 Pitch) then this is ok.
If its the pitch with lines etc then it becomes an issue - if you see what I mean?

Re: New KOA Landing Page
It is repeatable,a single small tile that when repeated Combines to form a pitch. And it works on mobile!!!!!!
Yes, I misspoke. Grass, the green green grass of home. 6Kb of green green grass.

Re: New KOA Landing Page
Done mate
Have amended some of the colours as they looked crap on Green, and put a border around each of the menu items as again they looked a bit naff against green....will try and work on the images tonight and make them better and then I think we are done unless Alex wants anything else?
Alex is that what you wanted around the pitch, I think you actually wanted the pitch, not just the grass but let us know
Doesn't look too bad in green, but I have to admit I preferred it with the flat grey background if I am honest!

Good man.
I have two other suggestions, minor stuff really
remove comments and twitter/facebook icons from here as we already have them at the top and they aren't relevant to these areas.

Re: New KOA Landing Page
a) I dunno if I like the current logo, need something else better before we replace?
b) I agree but I like them being there as it balances the page
I have updated the pics, any better or worse?

Re: New KOA Landing Page
Much better mate.
I think we should use the logo. I've super lovely and it's better than text and we don't use it anywhere currently.
Either way, everything else is superb and you mission here is complete.
P.S. the <title> </title> text says koa landing page, how about Welcome to the Kick Off Association or something similar.

Title elements have long been considered one of the most important on-page SEO elements (the most important being overall content), and appear in three key places: browsers, search engine results pages, and external websites.
