KOA Outage - Friday 5th March 2010 (20:00 - 00:00)
Dear all,
Apologies for the short notice however due to an urgent patch upgrade The KOA will be down for a couple of hours tonight from approx 20:00 UK Time.
We hope to keep the outage as short as possible, if the KOA is available you can post as normal.
If for any reason the outage doesn't go ahead tonight it will be the same time on Sat 6th March.
Please also be aware that these upgrades can be very tricky, and there is a very tiny chance that the KOA may be out for a lot longer if things don't go to plan, but hopefully this will not be an issue.
Kind regards,
Mark

Re: KOA Outage - Friday 5th March 2010 (20:00 - 00:00)
Dear all,
An issue with a security module running on the server caused the KOA outage to extend beyond the 4 hours we had presumed (nothing to do with the upgrade I have to add)
I have now resolved this issue. People who were already logged in (and keep themselves logged in via cache/cookie settings) will not have noticed an issue I presume.
However people who normally have to log in before posting, or anyone who 'logged out' would have been unable to access the server at all last night.
Myself and Nikos will look at this again sometime shortly (possibly tonight) , and ensure the KOA is patched to the latest level.
Please keep posting as normal however, if we decided to upgrade then the KOA will be taken offline anyway so you will be unable to post.
Kind regards,
Mark
