Hello and welcome to the forums.

The problem is that the disk is not formatted. The create a blank adf option creates an adf image but this image needs to be formatted. Here is the link that explains how:

http://ale.emuunlim.com/create-blank-adf.htm

If you have any problems to do so, send me a PM and I will email one to you.

 try the last version of Winuae http://www.winuae.net/ (0.9.92)
It's much user-friendly than any other previous versions and u don't need to learn any silly things to have a simple disk formatted.
You've just to press the "create standard floppy" button on the Disk Drive options

Well, I am sure Andy did just that (read his post carefully). Actually, he has to know these silly things if he wants to convert his PM tactics disks to ADFs. Hope you know them too because you have to make some dumps for the C.A.P.S.

The solution to Andi's problem is that he clicks the OK button on the disk request screen a few times instead of once. That's why he gets this error. Best solution is to activate the On-Screen LEDs option (and even the emulated floppy sound in the Sound options) to be sure that he clicked the button and it works.

Andi click here

Image

This is the new versions of winuae 8)
I used it last week with player manager and it worked fast and great!!
Also I used 2 session of winuae 1 with Player Manager and 1 with Kick Off 2 to test directly the tactics without losing a second!

This option is ancient. It exists for ages now in winUAE so hardly new and hardly only on the new version of winUAE... The image is actually predefined in the winUAE executable and it just makes a copy on the path you select. Being a beta tester in winUAE always helps  !

being an administrator of a kick off forum site since 2001 helps me to say that we had so much problems on PM since this version of WinUAE.

You can find all the posts in the kick off world forums.

Hi Andi

I have done this for other forum members in the past and can do it for you. You can send me the disks. If you are willing to send me your disks, send me a PM and I will reply with my address.
