Count me in. I just got bored of not having the KO2 engine in there for playing the games. Went over to the Dark Side for a bit and played SWOS on my PC instead. Am so looking forward to UPM tho. :)

I started playing again on an emu last month, it's still as addictive as ever. To me the simplicity appeals, not having to make decisions about everything from ticket prices to seating allocations, but just focusing on the pitch. I wonder if UPM will be the same, or go into "God-like" managing mode.

Acoording to me Player Manager is the best computergame ever.

I really hope that UPM will be even better but it will definitely be diicult to be better than PM.

I gotta say that the game is alot alot better if you play in position instead of as a team.

It may be a bit against the P in PM, but I like it even better when I hang up my boots after playing a season in position to help out (don't know who I'm helping out, my own team or the opposition) and just watch the team play.

hehe I like watching my team play too, sometimes I don`t play myself, and watch my lovely team play
But I did get to the point in the game that if I played myself in a cup game, and it went to penalties, it wouldn`t finish the pens, it would just stay there.. forever

Stainy!

I don't think that happens bacause of that you don't play! I don't know though!

I always play in position and I play all the games.

I have noticed that in the penalties, shoots by the following players:
number 11 starts, then 10 , then 9 and so on.

If you have done an substituition. For instance if nr 10 isn't on the field. The penaltyshooting will stop and you have to start your CPU over again!

So maybe you just did a substitution!

After the first 3-4 years, where you have to take manual control to get promoted (and also reload a fair number of times), I sit back and let my team get on with it.

I tend to play most games on 'fast', to get through the season as quickly as possible. 'Result only' gives an unreasonable number of injuries, and also some dodgy scorelines. Normal is very tedious once you have a side made up of 1000k+ players.

It would be nice if you could occasionally sit back and watch (like in FAST) but at normal speed. This would be good for the cup final.
