Player Manager 2 for PC problem

I have a problem with the old and famous "Player Manager 2". During the play, the game exits to Dos with the error "Abort = 1224 64". What is the problem? And what is the solution to this problem?

Welcome in the KOA Giovanni!
I'm not sure but I think that there are 2 versions of PM2 for the PC; one of them runs in dos and the other runs in wins. Trying to run the prog from the dos command prompt may solve your problem cause it seems like a run-time error. If it doesn't work, unistall and reinstall PM and try again. If nothing works and you really want this game, then buy it from

I've tried to play run the game from dos command prompt. The result is the same. During the play, the game exits to Dos with the error "Abort = 1224 64". I've tried to do everything, but the result is the same. I don't want to buy another Player Manager 2 copy. I want to solve this problem.
Can you help me, please?

I guess your disk is defected then... what's your pc's profile? what os are you using?

Make a query for PM2 at
http://www.the-underdogs.org. I downloaded it from that location and it runs perfectly.

It's a Dos version. I need Windows version. Anyway, i've downloaded it and the it's occurred same error.

Hmmm... it seems that you're experiencing a hardware problem... it runs perfectly on my computer. I run on winXP Athlon XP 1700+ 512mb ram radeon 9100 no problem.

Do you have any idea about the error "Abort = 1224 64"?
If i knew what this error means, i'd solve it.
