Re: Player Manager Frustration!
No worries dude I'm heading out for the night anyways now so it'll be tomorrow when I get back to it. Mara is now going on 37 years young though and is falling away before my eyes.
For the record has anyone got both the virtual drives working so you don't have to keep swapping disks from program to Data? I'm not getting any dice. :/

Re: Player Manager Frustration!
OK, here it goes.
First of all, BACKUP YOUR SAVE DISK. Screwing things up and making it unreadable is very easy.
-Write down your player manager's attributes (Age, Height, Shooting, Passing etc.)
-Download one of the many free Hex Editors that you can find on the internet (I use Hex Workshop).
-Use it to load your savedisk ADF.
-Type Ctrl+F and enter your player manager's name:
You will most probably find him in more than one place, especially if you keep multiple saves in the disk. Look for a sequence of numbers in the vicinity that match your player's attributes. Don't look for Pace, Stamina etc. because those could apply to multiple players if they're all near 200. Look for Shooting, Passing, Tackling. Of course everything is in Hex, which is to say that 178 will appear as B2. Most programs have a built in Hex calculator that will come in handy.
As soon as you locate your current PM,
look for his age byte (if he is 37 years old, then in Hex look for 25) and change it to 12 (which is 18 years old). Save the file and if you did everything correctly, your player manager will be young again.
Note that you must shut down the Hex Editor before attempting to load from the disk, it won't work if it's still open.
I hope that helps.

Re: Player Manager Frustration!
For this, I thank you. Gonna try it out now.
Update: I have the file open and have found Alkis (using your disk as a tester) the only thing now is I can't find any indication as to where the players stats are, I've scrolled down the entire list and couldn't see any thing, the only thing readable was other the team names. Is there a certain place where the age is always found in general or some other way of getting it?

Re: Player Manager Frustration!
There is no indication. That is why you need to look at the numbers in the vicinity of the name, because the name is the only thing that you can find easily.
Re: Player Manager Frustration!
Ahhh I get you now, I'll try that out and I'm sure I'll crack it.
EDIT: Ok me gives up, I can't for the life of me make any sense of the number patterns. :/ In the mean time myself and BIll have 2 serious sides built but then remembered when we loaded them into KO2 that the player manager name is actually "Player Manager". So in any case making our player 18 again wouldn't work out since our real names don't follow over into the matches.

Wow, this is awesome.
Do you know of any editor where you can change players names?

Impressive work, and a neat little app too.
I'm guessing that editing the names may be a far more involved process, but I'd love to be proved wrong!
Any other cool toys in the toolbox UB?

I think that a full editor isnt too far out of reach considering what was just presented to us.
Hopefully I am right and C. Ronaldo could be gracing KO2 for the first time in Histroy.
